RT-Global Resources (RT-GR) was established in 2013 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the State Corporation «Rosteс» (Rostec). RT-GR’s mission is to identify and manage natural resources and infrastructure projects as well as to support Rostec’s business interests in various sectors. RT-GR serves as the main competence center for investment planning, management and development of such projects. The RT-GR team has expertise in raising equity and debt financing for projects at the different stages of development. RT-GR’s investment strategy is primarily focused (but not limited to) on Russian, CIS and other emerging markets. The company's goal is to maximize value and capitalization of natural resources and infrastructure projects through: ∙ Origination, evaluation, acquisition and development of natural resources projects as well as financial recovery of companies in cooperation with industry partners and institutional investors; ∙ Implementation of a joint development approach by linking access to the deposits with exports of the end-products and use of Rostec and its partners’ technology and administrative resources; ∙ Fundraising from private financing sources to ensure dynamic growth of natural resources projects and companies of Rostec; ∙ Participating in infrastructure, service and logistic projects to support the raw materials industry, using innovative technologies and equipment produced by Rostec subsidiaries; ∙ Relying on regional and international presence of Rostec and favorable political relations with partner countries.
