About Ruben's Veggies
Ruben’s Veggies was founded by Ruth and Ben Veurink, in 1996. They started a greenhouse operation in Redcliff, AB. Since 2018 we have started our retail stands in southern Alberta. We currently have 9 retail produce stands: 2 in Calgary, 1 in Okotoks, 3 in Lethbridge, 2 in Medicine Hat, and 1 in Redcliff. We grow quality produce from our greenhouse directly to the consumer. Ruben’s is passionate about providing the freshest produce at an affordable rate. We are environmentally conscience growers, using an advanced bio-control program; good bugs fighting bad bugs. We also use biodegradable packaging on most of our produce. Our stores are operated via an honour system. The stores are unmanned, with a self-serve check-out system for cash, credit, or debit. We are open from April to November, 8am-8pm, 7 days a week
