Rùn's recipes have been designed by a top canine nutritionist, who is pioneering the science behind cold pressed pet food. We've spent almost a whole year discussing every single ingredient, tweaking the various quantities, adding in extra goodies like our fabulous and bespoke 'Joint premix', then finally ensuring everything is perfectly balanced. There isn't a single ingredient in there that doesn't serve a purpose, and we've removed absolutely everything else. Our eco packaging is so exciting. We've managed to source the holy grail in recyclabe, biodegradable, compostable packaging....and it's so simple....100% paper. Our 7.5Kg and 15Kg sacks are made from a really thick double ply Kraft paper. These sacks are super strong, but obviously don't have a man-made barrier, so we've reduced our shelf life to just 6 months to reflect this. We also have an even thicker and stronger 25Kg sack for retailers...and this is the really exciting bit...ZERO WASTE DOG FOOD!!! We've ditched the packaging all together and our customers are thrilled! Our select retailers are offering the pre-packed sizes, but better than that, they offer the chance to bring your own reusable container and weigh out exactly as much as you need. We've spent 9 years thoroughly researching what makes a good quality dog food, thanks to Rùn's very own fusspots, Murphy the Lab and Ripley the Working Cocker (yes, that's them cheerfully running towards you in the drawing at the top of your screen). Here at Rùn, we are confident that dogs will love our delicious food, while owners will love knowing that they're feeding the best nutrition, whilst also reducing their carbon pawprint!
