About Ruth Lee
Ruth Lee Ltd are a leading manufacturer of rescue training manikins. We currently supply 100% of the UK's Fire Services and many other customers such as the Armed Forces, Lifeguards, Paramedics and HART teams, Police Forces, H&S experts, Care Homes, the NHS and volunteer rescue teams. Our products are developed with our customers' needs in mind. For example, we developed our water rescue dummy with the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) and the British Navy and our innovative Pool Rescue manikin was designed with assistance of the RLSS (UK). All the UK's international airports use our products, along with several aviation training centres; we also supply many chemical and oil companies as well as offshore drilling facilities. We now export over 60% of our production, with the USA, Australia and Germany being our biggest markets. In 2018 we were named Welsh Exporter of the Year at the Daily Post Business Awards. Not only do we manufacture our internationally renowned training manikins, but we also distribute the FireWare range of Fire Simulation products which includes Smoke Generators, Sound Simulation and Fire Extinguisher Trainers. These products let you create very realistic emergency scenarios. We are also distributors for Eccotarp bunds, which are perfect for stage 1 Fire-fighter decontamination and the subsequent containment of contaminated water.
