About Ruth Ryan Jewelry

Hi, I'm Megan - the founder of Ruth Ryan Jewelry, LLC. I started making jewelry for friends and family while living in Chicago. I would spend my days utilizing my Masters degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, then I would hop onto the train and work on jewelry in a small local studio in the evenings. I quickly realized my passion was in the fine details of metalsmithing. My husband, Patrick, and I moved out of the city and he encouraged me to pursue my dreams. I named our little jewelry company Ruth Ryan after my middle name Ruth and his middle name Ryan. My time spent in the outdoors as a mountain guide inspired my Mountain Collection as well as the clean and simple designs throughout my jewelry line. I hope you enjoy wearing the jewelry as much as I love making it! Each piece of jewelry is designed, made and finished by hand at our studio in Seattle. We are constantly designing new pieces so please check back often for more listings! We use recycled and re-refined metals to help reduce the negative impact that mining has on the environment.
