Rutherford Rede is a national financial advisory practice that has been providing leadership in investment strategy and financial planning since 1992. We specialise in retirement planning, investment portfolios and executive financial planning. Our clients, who are warmly referred from our existing clients or from a professional referral, comprise an eclectic mix of individuals, couples, charities (and not-for-profits) and family trusts, all with one common aim – to improve their investment performance without risking permanent capital loss. There is no self-interest in our service design or product selection. We are committed to asset class investing and our clients have full transparency of reporting and fees. We use a custodial service for client funds so they never pass through our hands. Our advisers are members of our controlling professional body, the Financial Advice New Zealand (FANZ). The firm is independently certified by the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence (CEFEX) as achieving global best practice standards and has been granted the Discretionary Investment Management Service (DIMS) license by the New Zealand Financial Markets Authority (FMA). This means we are able to use our discretion and act on behalf of clients (in accordance with their approved investment strategies) when providing ongoing financial advisory services.
