S&E Specialty Polymers is a premier specialty plastic compounder. Our custom compounds and concentrates are developed by our professional R&D staff and are used in the Automotive, Wire & Cable, Battery, and Footwear Industries as well as for General Purpose Applications. We specialize in flame retardant polyolefins, high flame retardant low smoke PVC Plenum, and zero halogen high flame retardant plastic compounds. In addition to our compounds’ highly developed chemical characteristics, S&E is a leading producer of compounds that require exacting color match requirements. We invest heavily in R&D, and our R&D staff has extensive knowledge and experience in each of the industries we serve. In support of our internal objective for constant improvement, S&E works closely with each customer in developing new custom formulas to offer solutions to specific needs. S&E takes immense pride in being a specialty compounder who is recognized and registered to ISO 9001:2008 and accredited to ISO 17025:2005 (see scope). The ISO systems provide us with the foundation we use for consistently manufacturing premier compounds and controlling the quality of our products. These capabilities, along with our state of the art testing lab, allow S&E a superior ability to provide the most comprehensive testing results to our customers.
