SIMS is a privately owned Italian company with its core business in the field of pharmaceutical chemicals. With its several decades of activities, since its foundation back in 1937, SIMS is one of the main reference points in the Italian pharmaceutical industry, offering a wide range of services to the most important Pharma Companies worldwide. The main activity is concentrated on APIs but also involves toll manufacturing as well as advanced intermediates production. The awareness of SIMS towards cGMP within a long-term vision, has led to the construction of a new finishing unit: this unit, in operation since 2010, allows SIMS to offer high quality APIs with low bio-burden and suitable for injectable products. SIMS can also offer hazardous reactions like Birch Reductions and Cyanide chemistry under cGMP. All SIMS personnel, from production operators thru top management, are fully dedicated to offer our customers highly qualified products and services. With over 80 years of experience in Fine Chemicals, our chemical toolbox is different from most providers. Hazardous reactions under cGMP are our daily business. With our skills in API life cycle management and a sound list of APIs, we use this know-how for your products. Family owned, we make fast decisions and are totally customer oriented. Notwithstanding a very spread and important presence in the Italian market, SIMS has always been highly export oriented. Since the registration of the site at the US FDA in the early seventies, the North American Country has been considered as the referenced market in addition to EU, Japan and other regulated markets.
