At SJ Bargh, we pride ourselves on being leading specialised logistics honouring a national reputation with a local touch. With over 85 years under our belts we clearly know what we are doing. Constantly challenging ourselves to deliver more to our customers following our three core values; Integrity, Respect and Loyalty. The journey began in 1935 when Samuel James Bargh began a small business from his home near Lancaster transporting milk in churns from farms to a local dairy. To this day we have over 500 staff, over 500 assets, connecting 6 Depots across the UK. Milk logistics is our speciality – Currently collecting and delivering almost 4,000,000 litres of Milk per day. We are proud to be a founder-member of Palletforce Ltd, the UK’s leading palletised distribution network, which offers significant efficiency savings compared to conventional distribution methods. The SJ Bargh Group family grew back in 2016 with the acquisition of R.G Bassett & Sons. Sharing the same family values yet adding new capabilities and together offering a greater scale with a larger team, more vehicles and warehousing, and a host of complementary services.
