About SA2050

SA2050 is an environmental technology solutions company which builds global partnerships to bring breakthrough environmental technologies into Australia. What we are seeing at the moment is a dramatic societal shift in the way we inhabit the planet. The evidence of environmental damage and the voices of scientists speaking out around the world has brought about a fascinating global re-think in the way we approach our relationship with the earth. As a group of Australians, we started asking ourselves the question “what can we do to help this conversation in Australia?” Many of the new ideas and technologies that are coming to light are created where the biggest research and development budgets tend to be, in Europe and North America. We felt there was a need to establish links into these research communities to identify the best environmental breakthroughs as they work through their development stages and into commercialisation. Once these ideas are ready for market, we want Australia to be a key participant in helping these new ideas find their way. By the year 2050, we hope to have made an extraordinary contribution to the lives of many Australians and play a major role in raising the standards of environmental sustainability around the world.
