About Sadeh farm

Sadeh is the UK’s Jewish community farm. Since 2018, we’ve transformed what Jewish community can look like — earth-based, hopeful, and rooted in action. Sadeh brings together people across the religious, cultural, and generational spectrum to engage with each other and the land. Working at the intersection of Jewish tradition, ecological repair, and environmental justice, Sadeh runs fellowships, retreats, school trips, residencies, and public events. Our immersive programmes connect Judaism’s agricultural roots with climate action, food justice, and community building. Alumni go on to lead in sustainability, education, and social change — carrying Sadeh’s values far beyond the farm. Through no-dig growing systems, heritage seed saving, rewilding, tree planting, and composting, Sadeh demonstrates circular, regenerative models of land stewardship. We’ve planted over 2,000 trees, restored meadow habitats, and are developing a closed-loop water system for climate resilience. Wildlife is thriving. So is community. Now, we’re entering an exciting new phase: The Sadeh Centre — a five-year plan to expand our programming, deepen our educational work, and secure the site for generations to come.
