About Safe Harbor of Tennessee

Safe Harbor of Prayer, Inc, fondly known as the SHoP, is a community resource center in Hendersonville, TN. Our mission is to unite and serve the needs of our community by bringing local churches and businesses together for corporate change. The SHoP serves as a multifaceted resource center to network churches, businesses, and other existing nonprofit organizations in working to meet the needs of our community. The SHoP is a learning center and prayer hub to provide support for prevention and intervention to those of our community in crisis. The SHoP will provide sponsoring organizations with free access to all programs and workshops. Goals * Help combat the ever-increasing human trafficking problem in our community. * Provide resources to foster children, their parents and foster parents. * Coordinate efforts to feed the indigent in our area. * Supply a foundation of prayer for local churches, businesses and individuals. * Foster a united strategy with non-profits, churches and corporations/businesses in our community to maximize effectiveness in social outreach. *Facilitate mentoring opportunities in our community. * Generate focused volunteer opportunities, in conjunction with area churches, non-profits and corporations, to multiply the effectiveness of everyone in our community.
