Safe Society is a leading development organization established in 2005, headquartered in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, with an operational footprint across Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, Odisha, Gujarat, Haryana, and Chhattisgarh. At Safe Society, we are committed to empowering women, children, and marginalized communities through rights-based interventions, transforming the lives of over 150,000 individuals across rural and semi-urban India. Our mission is to drive positive, sustainable change for the most vulnerable and high-risk communities, ensuring their rights, dignity, and opportunities. By collaborating with key stakeholders, Panchayats, and government departments, we ensure effective project execution and lasting impact. Our expertise spans: Child Rights Protection – Through our ANTAYODAY model, we rehabilitate street and slum children at dedicated centers using "Fun with Learning" techniques to alleviate trauma and prepare them for societal integration. Livelihood & Skill Development – Creating sustainable opportunities for underserved communities. Health Initiatives – Focusing on menstrual health & hygiene, child health, growth & development, and sports interventions under GULLY BUDDY. Artisan Empowerment – SHWET promotes exquisite craftsmanship in Chikankari and Terracotta, with upcoming expansion into banana fibre products. Community Engagement – Through Loudspeaker 90 FM, our community radio, we amplify critical social issues, reaching thousands. In advocacy, we hold a Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and are active members of NACG-EVAC, Consortium for Street Children, End Violence Against Children, CATALYST 2030, Girls Not Brides, and Campaign Against Child Labor. Our flagship event, SAMAGAM, unites government bodies, NGOs, and corporates every 20th November for collaborative action toward child welfare.
