Our Emergency Crisis Response Units (ECRUs) offer an alternative to inappropriate hospital admissions or police detentions-creating safe, therapeutic environments during the most challenging moments. Our freestanding 6–8 bed CQC-registered units are designed for 24/7 admission within two hours, staffed by trained professionals and supported by clinical input from mental health practitioners. With a focus on stabilisation and transition, each stay is up to 28 days-bridging the gap between community care and hospital settings. We’re addressing a national shortfall in specialist crisis care. Over 90% of Section 136 detentions are deemed inappropriate, and existing services often fail to respond effectively to complex breakdowns in care.
