We at Safeguard Care (Transport) are a relatively new service provider based in the west midlands, we are a specialist transport agency offering both secure and non-secure transport for all young people. Our primary purpose is to safely and securely transport all young people to their proposed or planned destination. We typically work with young people with the following: require secure transport, vulnerable, challenging behaviours, misuse issues, missing from care, prolific offenders, CSE issues, asylum seekers, court appearances, school/education provision. We at Safeguard Care can assist with the transport of persistent absconders, hard to place young people from childrens homes, court, police stations, secure units, YOI and various other settings. We also offer a social worker / EDT support service where transport is an issue. We offer immediate response service and will respond within the hour. We provide support 24hrs a day, 365 days a year and accept referrals directly from social workers, 14plus teams, EDT, commissioning teams, police, probation services, YOS, residential childrens homes, the home office, schools/alternative education providers, childrens services and adult services. We also transport unaccompanied young people with no risk assessment or history. This service often involves asylum seekers/young people with immigration issues, to help assist these young people we have a diverse staff team with 24-hour access to an interpreter service covering many languages. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and efficiency whilst maintaining a child centred approach, which is reflected in our company ethos. As a company we feel this approach is missing within the current providers in this field. Our costing is extremely competitive when compared with other providers.
