About SafeHug

I have over 20 years of nursing experience. Nursing allows me to facilitate the treatment of various illnesses while providing care, having compassion for, empathizing with, and focusing on the patient, which is my passion. I am responsible for caring for the patient's physiological needs, safety and security. Throughout my career, I have seen the adverse effects of falls on patients, from lacerations, fractures, traumatic head injuries, and even death. To decrease the occurrence of falls and fall-related injuries and fatalities, I invented a Patient Safety Device in 2019, which I affectionately call SafeHug.
