Safetygeeks has over 20 years working in the Event Industry. Widely known and respected, we have worked on events of all sizes, from local community events to national and worldwide televised performances - everything from circus shows to corporate exhibitions and outdoor spectaculars. We engage with key stakeholders at every stage of planning and delivery of the event; providing key documentation, advice and knowhow. We also work throughout the Event Industry as health & safety advisors to production companies, performers, set workshops, designers, and technical contractors. We can assess your organisation’s specific needs to develop practical health & safety management systems including instruction & training, competence, risk assessment and control measures, workplace safety procedures, cooperation and communication. We can lead you through the red tape, interpreting the jargon, and communicate in plain language that you and your team will understand. We want to keep raising the standards of health & safety throughout the industry. We’re active in associations and discussion groups and work to keep events on the agenda in the face of a safety industry that is heavily focused on construction and manufacture. We often present at conferences and conventions, and our MD Brian Cleary is a CIEH accredited trainer and a former member of the NOEA general council.
