SafetyJourney is a specialist consultancy that benefits from over 20 years' of diverse experience, including the oil & gas industry, both locally and internationally, and the Government sector. SafetyJourney is committed to the zero harm aspiration, and believes that safety culture is a critical enabler in achieving zero harm, regardless of the industry. Safety culture is influenced by many factors. SafetyJourney's effectiveness lies in focusing on the key influencers of individual and team attitudes, language and behaviours. Our services are in three key areas: 1. Embark on your safety culture journey. 2. Individual and team mentoring and coaching. 3. Speaking and facilitation. Working with leaders, leadership groups and teams to clearly articulate and explain the desired safety culture is the first step in SafetyJourney's process. This includes answering some key questions that we normally take for granted...a challenging exercise! Following this, SafetyJourney uses diagnostics to understand and transparently articulate the current safety culture of a team, function or organisation. This includes exploration of both conscious behaviours and programs, and also the unintentional impact of subconscious behaviours. These diagnostics provide a benchmark, allowing qualitative and quantitative improvement goals to be set. Once the current state is understood, SafetyJourney works with teams to: 1. Explore and understand the shift required in moving from the current safety culture to the desired safety culture. 2. Define the steps required to reach the desired state. 3. Provide independent coaching and guidance on the safety culture change journey. SafetyJourney is passionate about safety culture, and supporting its clients on their individual journey.
