SafetyMax is a health and safety consultancy that provides sound safety advice, safety management systems and required safety documentation to clients in various industries. The company was created in July 2013 by J.L. van Zyl, who was an independent safety consultant at the time. His goal was to own a health and safety consultancy that goes that extra mile to assist clients and to provide non-generic, site-specific safety documentation to guarantee complete OHS Act compliance. His aim was also to make health and safety less intimidating and to create a better general awareness of safety in the workplace. Today, SafetyMax is renowned for their superb work ethic and above standard safety documentation, and continues to receive endless referrals from existing clientele. Our vision is to create a better awareness regarding occupational health and safety and to involve our clients in such a way that they fully understand the significance of safety in the workplace and to encourage it amongst their workers. Safety need not be intimidating or a burden and can be cost effective and lifesaving. Our mission is to provide improved health and safety information in compliance with the OHS Act together with a practical approach in developing solutions which enables employers and organizations to maintain the health, safety and welfare of their employees and all members of the public.
