About Safi Coffee
Safi Coffee is a very special initiative run by a group of school pupils committed to ethical trading and social responsibility. Children and parents in Uganda truly value education as an opportunity to escape the cycle of real poverty, sadly many youngsters never get the chance. The ides of Safi Coffee originated during a school trip to Uganda in 2015. The team discovered that the coffee grown in the region is one of the best tasting coffees in the world. Safi Coffee raises vital funds to educate children in Uganda and change their lives completely. It costs just £180 to fund a child to attend school for a full year. This includes accommodation, food, uniform and healthcare. It makes sense, for both us and them. It makes a difference. Safi Coffee is available to buy on our online shop. We supply restaurants, coffee shops and hotels. We also offer pupil-led presentations to businesses who want to support our project and fuel their workforce with one of the best tasting coffees in the world while making a difference.
