Born in 1778, SAFILIN is one worldwide leaders in the spinning industry processing natural fibers of flax (linen) and hemp of European origins to produce yarns, strings and rovings. The company is located in Sailly-sur-la-Lys in north of France and has also two extra factories located in Milakowo and Szczytno in Poland, a country with a long tradition in linen and experienced labor force. Thanks to its historical know how in flax and hemp spinning, SAFILIN uses its experience to offer its customers the best yarns for their own uses with a strict selection of raw materials, guanranteeing a strong stability of its production. Known worldwide for its quality, SAFILIN constantly innovates and develops new products in partnership with its customer. In 2007, after years of R&D and in partnership with some knitters, SAFILIN launches its range of 100% linen yarns dedicated to flat and circular knitting and is now getting into the market of textile reinforcements for composites with a new range of roving products to answer the needs of industrial clients seeking new products with technical and environmental constraints. SAFILIN‘s whole production is Oeko Tex 1 and Reach compliant.
