Founded in 1986, Sahil has evolved from a helpline to a lifeline for the South Asian communities, combating stress and isolation. As a registered charity, we've earned recognition, including the prestigious "Queen's Award" for Voluntary Services in 2009, underlining our commitment to community growth. At the heart of our mission is the enhancement of psychological well-being, addressing challenges like language barriers, discrimination, and access to services. Under the leadership of Mrs. Rani Saund, Sahil has expanded its support network, operating from Coventry, and extending to satellite centres. We're open five days a week, offering a sanctuary of support and activity. Our services span emotional and psychological support, health and wellbeing promotion, and diverse programs that cater to all ages and backgrounds. From yoga and music therapy to counselling and peer support, we aim to uplift, empower, and foster independence. Our collaborative efforts with organisations like Coventry Warwickshire Mind highlight our dedication to social inclusion.
