About Sail Away Magazine

Sail Away is a cruise travel magazine, written by cruise lovers, for cruise lovers! The main reason for launching the magazine, was so that we could do some good along the way. Not only do we donate £1 to the marine conservation charity, ORCA for every magazine we sell each month, thought articles, we bring awareness to the importance of marine conservation and the outstanding work ORCA and their volunteers play is protecting whales and dolphins around the world! We also play a more hands-on role in helping ORCA, whether it be taking part in beach clean-ups, sea safaris or accompanying ORCA volunteers on vessels to assist in monitoring cetacean populations! Sail Away is a magazine written for those that are obsessed with cruises, but also have care and compassion for the world they inhabit. Each month we will feature guest contributors from across the cruise industry – including fellow travel influencers, vloggers, travel agents and cruise line officials, so that you get a balanced publication, with a broad range of cruise tips and advice from people that love cruising as much as you do! Sail Away was founded because of a love for writing, cruising, content creation and an overriding passion for animal welfare, and concern for the environment. As a publication, we aim to be a loud voice in influencing decisions relating to the environment, and why adapting environmentally and ecologically considerate decisions is fundamental for the long-term sustainability and biodiversity of the planet we all call, home.
