About Saint Thomas' Episcopal School
We are proud to be named the #1 Best Christian High School in the Houston Area for 2019 by Niche, a website that ranks schools and colleges throughout the U.S. Since 1955, Saint Thomas’ Episcopal School (STE) has formed honorable men and women through a classical education grounded in a Christ-centered world view. STE is a college preparatory day school serving 600 students in grades Kindergarten through 12. Our campus is located in the Meyerland area of southwest Houston near Bellaire, West University, and the Texas Medical Center. Bussing to and from STE is offered to students in Pearland. Saint Thomas’ Episcopal students won recent state and national awards in soccer, choir, swimming, cross country, orchestra, and yearbook. We also offer a world renowned Scottish Arts program that includes Highland dance, bagpiping, and drumming. The STE pipe band is currently ranked #1 in the U.S. for the second consecutive year. One-hundred percent of graduates attend 4-year colleges and universities throughout the nation and abroad. Students in the last two senior classes have received acceptances from highly selective universities such as Yale, Stanford, Dartmouth, Cornell, Duke, Rice, UC Berkeley, NYU, and Carnegie Mellon. We also post high annual acceptance rates to in-state universities such as UT-Austin and Texas A&M. Visit STE and you’ll know the difference. We offer personal tours on most weekdays when school is in session, two Open Houses in the fall, and a number of shadow days in the fall and spring.
