About SAIT Accounting Society
SAIT Accounting Society is a student-run organization within the SAIT School of Business. Our main purpose is to forge links between undergraduate students, SAIT School of Business’ Accounting faculty, Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta, and the local accounting industry. We hold events that provide networking opportunities, communicate information between organizations, stimulate discourse and discussion, and groom future industry leaders for their respective career launches. Our past events have revolved around boosting student membership, hosting guest speakers, providing a forum for mock-interviews, providing a forum for networking between students and industry – and in the future, we would like to add to that list events that benefit community causes. SAIT Accounting Society values professionalism, soft skills development, and stakeholder engagement.
