Salisbury Tutoring Academy serves all children in a one-on-one environment as the national tutoring chains has a 1:3 tutor/student ratio. We understand all students need attention, concrete encouragement, safe support system when they get frustrated, an atmosphere that is quiet and conducive to transformation, stability, consistency and the opportunity to reach their potential development. Salisbury Tutoring Academy’s philosophy is based upon the premise of the Three-Legged-Table approach. Students, parents and teachers sign a contract, which clearly delineates the responsibilities of each party and provides encouragement through incentives and reasonable consequences. Salisbury Tutoring Academy has a simple yet powerful student evaluation system that includes re-evaluations and program design adjustments every few months to keep students on track. The goal of STA is to help America , one successful child at a time, and STA has an impressive record of success. There are approximately 25 certified teachers on our staff. Each of these teachers offers tutoring classes in their area of specialty. Our teachers are NC Licensed and have experience, masters degrees and are recipients of prestigious teaching awards.
