Since 1985, Salon Visage has raised the standard for innovative hair salons in the Southeast led by the creative team of Frank and Belinda Gambuzza, each internationally recognized performers and educators in the hair care industry. Frank and Belinda’s commitment to constant improvement through education has made Salon Visage a favorite of East Tennesseans and beyond with more than 50,000 clients from six states. Frank and Belinda began working as a team even before they met. Each worked at a different salon in Knoxville, but unbeknownst to either, they shared the same clients. At his salon, Frank cut the client’s hair and Belinda colored the same tresses at another. After they met and married, Belinda became Salon Visage’s first colorist and helped expand Salon Visage from a small shop in a renovated house to a full service salon. Their clients were thrilled. The Gambuzzas soon discovered that together there was no stopping them. Throughout the last decade their motivation, training, commitment to education and responsibility to family, employees and community has helped them grow through four major expansions and into the corporate office and full service salon at Downtown West Boulevard. It also led to the opening of Spa Visage, a full-service day spa located in the adjacent shopping center, in 2000. The Studio opened in 2004 and Salon Visage in Market Square opened in 2006. “Belinda’s the one with the vision,” Frank says. “She wanted to take over the city.”
