About SALTO Studio

SALTO is a Lisbon-based architecture and interior design studio founded in 2021 by André Nave, Miguel O'Neill and Marco Dos Santos, after more than ten years of international experience across London, Zurich and Lisbon. The studio operates across various scales and typologies of projects, from private homes to public buildings and collaborations with international businesses. With a strong design focus, our architecture rises from a desire to combine advanced design processes and techniques with a passion for natural, sustainable materials and craft. We are passionate about challenging the norms, and our collaborative dialogue with clients, consultants and contractors results in a meticulous and sustained approach to construction and detailing. We strive to produce architecture which is rooted in place, drawing on construction techniques, contemporary art and design to achieve a singularity of locally and culturally sustained projects that reflect our constant research between matter and sensorial spatial environments, shaped by carefully curated forms and materials. Simultaneously, we are passionate about the technological side of practising architecture. From in-house 3d printing, to BIM enabled workflow and AI-powered real time rendering, we strive to use state of the art technology in our designs.
