Saltwater Creations is a registered not-for-profit CIC, proudly celebrating 10 years in 2025! Since launching, we’ve reached over 9,500 people in the community through creative, sea-inspired sessions that promote positive mental and emotional wellbeing. Saltwater Creations delivers fun, inclusive, beach-themed arts workshops that provide access to the arts, support community connection, and encourage care for our beautiful coastline—helping to keep our beaches clean, creative, and respected. Taking the 'Coast to the Classroom', or the 'Beach to the Boardroom', Saltwater Creations provides a fun, surf themed workshop, to local schools and organisations to help people to improve their physical and mental wellbeing. The real life, interactive, storytelling workshop is based on the first-hand experience of overcoming adversity, after the sudden death of a young local surfer. 'The Cure for anything is Saltwater' and the workshop shows how the sea, some hard work and a few tears, can help people get through adversity and daily challenges in life. Saltwater Creations aims to empower individuals to realise their self-worth, their abilities and a gratitude for life.
