After a successful 25-month banana field trial on Sigatoka Negra, as well as trials on pathogens on cacao, tomatoes, and grapes in Ecuador, urged by investors, Salveo Agro’s Founder teamed up with Texas A&M University (TAMU), one of the top 20 agricultural universities globally to conduct further trials. At TAMU, the team successfully tested the dosing and efficacy of Tectus Matrix® against FOC TR4 with In Vitro and In Vivo greenhouse bioassays on 84 live Cavendish banana plants. Tectus Matrix® is now proven as a curative and preventative against Panama Disease FOC TR4. “We are excited that our 3rd party bioassays with TAMU’s Plant Pathology Department proved that we have preventative and curative treatments for TR4,” says Tectus Matrix® inventor, Jack Bracewell, Founder of Salveo Agro. “Here we have a sustainable treatment that can stop the TR4 pandemic and save the bananas”.
