SalvOcean is an established UK company, with a USA subsidiary established in 2023. With one of the most experienced and respected salvage teams in the industry, backed by decades of intricate and detailed research. SalvOcean has been established as a commercial deep water salvage business which also addresses the environmental issues that accompany shipwrecks. We have intentionally stepped away from the “Treasure Hunting” image that salvors have historically been labelled with. Our objective is to create profitable, risk assessed and well-balanced salvage programmes while in parallel, working alongside scientists to assess the potential impacts to the environment through pollution brought about through decaying shipwrecks. Our targets are merchant ships sunk during the two World Wars carrying precious (and base) metals to and from the USA to pay for American goods and support. At present the gold price is only moving in one direction, and the demand for physical gold has never been higher. With events such as the War in Ukraine, a potential BRICS gold standard and fluctuation in the markets, the projections are this will only increase. SalvOcean offers a unique uncorrelated, alternative investment into the exploration for and recovery of gold and other metals which is far quicker, more economic and environmentally friendly when compared to conventional mining.
