Samaritans provides lifesaving suicide prevention services throughout Greater Boston, MetroWest, and across Massachusetts. Our services are free, confidential, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. Some of the services we provide include: Grief Support Services: Losing a loved one to suicide is a painful and difficult experience. Hey Sam: Hey Sam is a dedicated peer-to-peer texting service for people up to 24 years old. Designed for and staffed by young people, Hey Sam gives youth the opportunity to reach peers if they are struggling, need someone to talk to, or need support. Text 439-726 9 AM - 12 AM (midnight) ET. We’re here to teach communities how to recognize warning signs of suicide and provide support.
