Samco Industries Pty Ltd is an Australian manufacturing company specialized in a complete line of industrial and commercial quality switchboard. We are based in Hobart and Adelaide and service our partners throughout Australia. Samco is regarded as an industry icon in the electrical equipment manufacturing industry, being the oldest privately-owned switchboard manufacturing company in Tasmania having stood the test of time. Founded in 1984 in Hobart, Tasmania, SAMCO (Switchboard and Allied Manufacturing Company) has contributed to major industrial and public infrastructure projects over the decades. Great individuals have made the success of Samco possible, starting with the founders Arthur Blee and William Watson, who envisioned Samco's future. Martin Tongs joined Samco and together with Nick Burdon, raised the company's profile by broadening the offering and by providing in-depth knowledge to our partners in the industry. We believe that a great company is in-fact only the reflection of a great team behind it. Samo's team of talented tradesmen and loyal colleagues, is making the difference and ables us to provide top service and commitment to our partners. Samco quality equipment and switchboards can be found in many public places in Tasmania, and specifically in Hobart, but also in the mining, aquaculture, agriculture sector. Our switchboards and enclosures are differentiated and well known for their reliability and durability. We design and build in-house to specifications and have capabilities to provide from CAD shop drawings, to wiring diagrams or full project documentation via EPlan.
