About San Diego All-Stars Basketball Association

San Diego All-Stars Basketball Association offers skills development, athletic conditioning and development for young men, ages 13 to 18, in the sport of basketball. We attract high caliber athletes from all over the west and ensure that our players are exposed to the highest possible level of competitive basketball. We strive to identify and develop players that we believe are capable of attracting opportunities to play basketball at the “next level”. It is our goal to secure college athletic opportunities for our players at any attainable level – whether at a 2-year junior college (with an opportunity to transfer to a 4-year university), or an NAIA, Division III, Division II or Division I university. We believe that any young man who secures a position with a college team at any level should be very proud of his accomplishment. Players who are selected to play for a San Diego All-Stars team are expected to identify themselves as a “college-bound student-athlete”. We expect an academic commitment from our players equal to their athletic commitment and we partner with parents, schools and local non-profit organizations to promote the academic success of our college-bound student athletes. Through our academic support programs, we educate our players to understand the relationship between academic achievement, athletic achievement and college athletic opportunity in order to target opportunities that are most likely to lead to athletic and academic success.
