About San Diego Oasis
San Diego Oasis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to successful aging. With a strong focus on lifelong learning, healthy living, and volunteer community service, we enrich the lives of older adults by keeping them active and engaged to prevent social isolation and sedentary behavior. With over 1,700 stimulating classes, we encourage older adults to continue to pursue their dreams and discover life after 50. We offer a wide variety of classes for people of all interests and hobbies including: language, arts, crafts, humanities, exercise and wellness, personal finance, technology, and travel activities. Also for those looking to inspire the next generation, we pair older adults with elementary school children to improve their literacy skills, self esteem, and develop healthy habits in our two intergenerational volunteer programs. Pursue an old or new interest, continue to learn, give back to your community, and make new friends. Do something for your mind, your body and your community. Membership is free and open to anyone 50 and over.
