SFPRG engages in scholarship, research, and education on how psychopathology develops and how psychotherapy works. We focus on how to tailor psychotherapy to patients’ particular problems to optimize treatment. Psychotherapy that works for everyone is our goal. RESEARCH: We sponsor, coordinate, and supervise research into how psychotherapy works, then publish and speak on this topic in journals and at conferences around the world. EDUCATION: We provide trainings, hold workshops, and sponsor a host of opportunities for students and clinicians to educate themselves about how to make psychotherapy work for everyone. COMMUNITY: Our events and forums help members to connect with one another, sharing their professional experience and expertise. Building and maintaining a robust and vital community is our goal
