More recently, Sancell collaborated with their local recycle partner to obtain certified post-consumer recycle (PCR) to be incorporated into Phoenix Bubble, Armour Padded Mailer Bags and Silver Sheen Thermal Liners and Bags (25%). This is some of the first protective packaging in Australia to contain PCR. In 2023, Sancell increased recycled content rates across Thermal Liners and Bags, Padded Mailer Bags and Bubble lines to 50% (25% post-consumer recycled content and 25% post-industrial recycled content). As Sancell strives for a more circular economy, PCR is the superior packaging material for industries of the future.
