Our History: In 1991, Leo M. Sand established Sand Companies, Inc. - an industry leader in construction, property management, and real estate development. In 1997, Sand purchased a full service hotel management company and one year later expanded Sand's services into residential property management. As the final step to achieve a fully integrated real estate company, in 2003 Sand hired an experienced architect to provide design build services. In 2008, Leo partnered with key Sand Associates to add five Shareholders with over 200 years of combined experience in real estate development, architecture, construction, procurement, property and hospitality management. Today, Sand is managed by a strong leadership team and governed by its Shareholders and Board of Directors. With more than 100 completed projects becoming part of the fabric of local communities scattered throughout 13 different states, Sand Companies, Inc. is well-positioned to experience continued success and growth for years to come.
