About Sandco Industries
Sandco Industries is a non-profit corporation in operation since 1964. The corporation qualifies as exempt under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our Mission is “To provide meaningful and dignified work and life opportunities for those with developmental disabilities while also providing high quality and cost competitive products for our customers.” Sandco recently went through a transition in 2016, that involved going private, building a new facility (2017), and moving a town over from Fremont to Clyde. Sandco Industries strives to maximize the strengths, interest and choices of individuals with developmental disabilities while minimizing identified barriers in and around the Clyde area. We are made up of three different branches: Sandco Industries, Sandco Workforce Solutions, and Sandco Life Enrichment. Throughout all of our programming and production work, Sandco strives to maintain a high standard and reputation. We seek out CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities), hold high standards with DODD (Department of Developmental Disabilities) and also OOD (Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities).
