About Sandhurst Trust
The Sandhurst Trust is the official charity and alumni community of the the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Originally established in 2003 (then as the Sandhurst Foundation), the Sandhurst Trust was re-launched in 2014 with a re-articulated focus on supporting the Academy especially through promoting esprit de corps, sustaining ethos and preserving heritage and promoting and promulgating the Army’s approach to leadership. Its programme of ‘leadership encounters’ introduce to the Academy alternative and complimentary perspectives on leadership, and provide opportunities for interaction between the Academy, its alumni and other leadership-focused organisations. Its events aim to foster an enduring sense of belonging and connection among the Sandhurst Group’s alumni, both UK and overseas, Regular and Reserve and including the UOTCs. Through conferences and the publication of occasional papers it will assist the Academy’s academic departments in reaching a wider audience and thereby enhance the Academy’s reputation as a centre of academic excellence it its fields.
