Sandsettlers is a global purpose-driven company, which aims to provide self-sustaining houses for people living in desertic areas. The initial idea was to help humanity in its most complex challenges while providing a sustainable solution. Overpopulation is the antecedent of all imperative issues humans are faced with today. Global warming, increasing desertification and rising sea levels are only consequences. And we think that living in deserts is the answer as these vast and extensive amounts of land are yet to be used efficiently. Our product is a house, engineered by using biomimetics, capable of tolerating extreme heat and glacial nights, resisting against sandstorms and coping with the lack of water. Its design and architecture mixes physics, chemistry, biology, geology and mathematics to create a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere. Our technology can be used in suburbs around metropolis like Dubai or Los Angeles by giving people better living standards in these harsh conditions. In addition, Sandsettlers can also have practical applications in other fields such as agriculture and science. In the future, we wish to take part in space travel and support astronauts in their explorations by constructing self-sustaining housing and adapt to new diverse environments and climates.
