About Sangha House

The Sangha House is a sober living house for those in recovery who want to focus on a creative pursuit, reengage with the community, and grow spiritually and mentally. Full of workshops, classes, and exercises, The Sangha House presents its residents with the tools needed to enhance their natural innate creative abilities into a self-sustaining career as a professional creative or with a creative business. Our class topics include: How to create a brand and website, as well as how to market online and use social media; finding galleries or partners for your art as well as how to expand and grow your skills, and exercises that promote your creativity and art that aid the recovery process. In addition to focusing on sobriety and creative passion, newcomers will also learn basic meditation techniques to enhance their recovery program in a familiar and comfortable environment. Experienced meditators will discover new ways to deepen their current practice and recovery program while supporting the group. We host several types of 12-step meetings, themed support meetings, group therapy, and community events, including a monthly gathering to educate people in the community on what addiction is and if you may be affected by it. Visitors to the Sangha House also have access to the same vast selection of classes and learning opportunities, from yin yoga and functional stretching to movement and dance, sound therapy, and music healing. By building a community that focuses on the mind, body, and spirit, we believe our residents will have the most well-rounded sobriety program they can receive. Our approach gives them the best chance at a new life full of success, creativity, and compassion.
