About SANHU Productions

SANHU is a video and multimedia production company in South Africa. We specialize in facilitating international television crews, producing wildlife documentaries, television- and social media productions. We are based in Nelspruit close to the Kruger National Park and various wildlife reserves in South Africa. SANHU Productions previously based in Kruger National Park from 1999 to 2011, leading to excellent relations with all the National Parks and other conservation organisations, giving it privileged access to areas ordinarily closed to film crews. SANHU Productions comprise of a tight-knit team of dedicated experts. Our combined skills and facilities provide support, expert advice, and back up to local and international clients, covering every aspect of television and multimedia production. SANHU Productions provides a full range of television production facilities and an extensive stock footage library. We are also fully equipped with the latest camera rigs (HD and 4K) including all accessories and lights. SANHU Productions equipment includes a DJI Phantom 4 drone and operator, DJI Osmo and various GoPros with mounts. We operate from a fully rigged, customized 4X4 vehicle with a 360-degree turret containing both 12 and 220-volt power supply. We edit on Premier Pro with a fully equipped Apple Mac. SANHU Productions specialises in facilitating and fixing international productions filmed in South Africa. Our extensive knowledge of South African National Parks and wildlife reserves furnish us with access to remote locations otherwise inaccessible to the general public. We constantly scout for new and exciting locations, negotiating good rates for filming permits and access fees. Where filming takes place in remote locations, SANHU Productions prepare fully equipped camps for the crew, including catering and transport. We also assist with health and safety information as well as visa and customs requirements.
