About Sanity Headway Academy

Sanity Headway Academy is a community integration employment training program designed to guide and support person-centered adult individuals who are developmentally and/or intellectually disabled and who are active participants or eligible for Regional Center services. We assist individuals with achieving their employment goals, independence and productivity within their local communities in ways that honor individualized choices. We provide individuals with a variety of job-readiness trainings to overcome barriers to employment and assist with finding and retaining competitive integrated employment. Services We Provide: - Pre-Employment Training - Job Development - Job Coaching - Job Support - Money Management/Financial Literacy - Emergency Intervention Assistance - Transportation Assistance - Continues Job Support Additional Support We Provide: -A safe space for individuals who identify with the LGBTQ community -A fresh start for individuals who've unsuccessfully participated in other program -Individuals who requires supports with community integration -Individuals who aspire and require guidance and support to become entrepreneurs -Young adults transitioning out of high school that requires guidance and support with making individualized career choices and/or preparation to take college courses Our mission is to assist individuals with exploring and identifying employment opportunities and put them in a position to be able to gain knowledge, independence, self-confidence and practical skills towards a specific career choice.
