These arise from research and clinical experience spanning many disciplines that point to the fact that our earliest experiences are the most formative and that we must consider the whole body-mind-spirit in our concepts of health and healing. In response to the growing need for professionals trained in these new specialties, Santa Barbara Graduate Institute offers the first graduate degrees in prenatal and perinatal psychology and the first doctoral degrees in somatic psychology.
