I am a longtime Yoga and Pilates teacher and am passionate about developing core strength, allowing us to grow stronger as we age! After the shock of my Osteoporosis diagnosis, 4 years ago, my personal fitness focus shifted towards building bone strength. I was already certified in Buff Bones (a pilates exercise program specialising in bone safety) but I wanted to build a more targeted program to support people like myself. Through my own experience as well as all my research, I recognized that weightlifting is not the first step for everyone, It is so important to develop your core strength, because once you're postmenopausal, there is a trend of decline. I knew that if I did nothing, the Osteoporosis would likely get worse. So, to help all women get stronger, I started to work on my Short & Sweet program. This is a program for people who don't have hours and hours to commit per week. We've got a lot of time pressures, right? I knew that the level of commitment had to be realistic. So each person can choose their own pace.
