Sass Studios, formerly Kalico Design, is a boutique creative studio with a twist. We’re a group of creative, independent-thinking ladies who love supporting and empowering other women-oriented businesses and organizations by helping them cultivate a visual “voice”. We have first-hand knowledge and experience with small business entrepreneurship, magazine publishing and event coordination. This gives us an edge in helping you with all your creative design needs—from branding to event collateral to publication layout— and everything in between. We offer a full range of design services for both print and web. We believe that all aspects of a company’s marketing efforts should retain a consistent look to create a cohesive brand message. So, whether you hire us to develop your entire brand identity or just a new logo or website, we always move forward with a wholistic approach. We also publish two magazines and two online media resources. Sass Magazine is a women's lifestyle print publication distributed throughout the western Maryland and surrounding regions. SassMagazine.com is a national web women's lifestyle media source where we post articles related to career, travel, wellness, culture, beauty, fashion, and spotlight women doing amazing things around the country! The Virginia Maryland Washington DC Dog Magazine is dog lover's lifestyle magazine distributed throughout the DC Metro region and Virginia and Maryland, and VAMDDCdog.com will soon be launching as a nationwide online media resource for animal lovers, pet professionals and dog owners everywhere.
