About SATPE
SATPE, Scottish Association of Teachers of Physical Education was founded in 2013 and is run by volunteer teachers currently working in the profession. We represent PE teachers across Scotland with nearly 2000 members, and work closely with Education Scotland, the SQA and Sportscotland as well as a number of different partner organisations. Our aims as an association are to Promote PE across Scotland, Support teachers and student teachers in their delivery of high quality physical education, and to Provide resources, professional learning opportunities and teacher voice. Membership to SATPE provides access to our online professional learning webinars calendar, online teaching resources on our website and attendance at the annual SATPE Conference.
