After many years of debate about the power, wave length and application of LED UV, Saturn UV now believes that the time is right to move away from the conventional and into the digital. All Saturn UV products are designed and engineered utilising the high end expertise of LED application and encompassing LEDs sourced from Japan. LED UV curing sources can be provided as a “One off project application” or can be selected from a range of “standard products” They come in a range of UV wave length out puts , for example 365nm, 385nm, 395nm, and can be supplied/specified to meet the curing chemistry selected. As an option the units can have a “mix” of output or can be supplied in cassette format so that different module can be slide in and out. Output can be from as little as 2 watts per square cm to 25watts per sq cm and above.( of pure curing energy) The systems are supplied with air of water cooling dependent of the power selected or required. There is no ducting to atmosphere as Ozone is not produced, allowing an “office type” installation, or even a “clean air application” to be easily achieved. Electrical usage is less than a quarter of any conventional UV system and there is no “standby”. The LED’s are either on or off. LED life is more than 20,000 hours so, overall running costs are at an all-time low for UV curing. Instant Cure,
