SAVE, costituita nel 1987, dal 2005 al 2017 quotata al mercato telematico azionario di Borsa Italiana, è la holding di un Gruppo che opera principalmente nella gestione degli aeroporti. Il modello gestionale del Sistema negli ultimi 10 anni si è basato su una strategia di utilizzo sinergico e complementare dei due scali di Venezia e di Treviso. L’aeroporto di Venezia in particolare è cresciuto in termini di traffico di lungo raggio e oggi rappresenta uno dei tre gate intercontinentali italiani con collegamenti diretti per New York, Philadelphia, Montreal, Toronto, Dubai. SAVE detiene inoltre il 48,32% dell’aeroporto belga di Charleroi ed è l’unica società di gestione aeroportuale italiana che partecipa alla gestione di uno scalo estero. Ad ottobre 2014, SAVE è entrata nel capitale di Aeroporto Valerio Catullo di Verona S.p.A. che gestisce gli aeroporti di Verona e Brescia di cui oggi detiene il 43,393%.
